Since 1984 Wholebake has made a range of wholesome snack bars including flapjacks and fruit bars but the Wholebake legend has to be the Original 9Bar.
They call it the Original simply because it is the original health bar recipe, created as a backlash to the modern, synthetic, nutritionally poor sweet snacks so widely available at the time.
9Bars founders knew the healthy nutritional benefits of seeds but knew they could sometimes be a bit tiresome and boring to eat.
Contains: Mixed seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, sesame, poppy) (55%), carob topping (sugar, vegetable fat, soya, carob, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin) (15%), honey, raw cane sugar, vegetable oil, dehulled hemp seed (3%).
