New Store - Grand Opening
Monday 15th February 2010
Monday 15th February 2010 saw a new chapter for Greenlife commence as their super new shop in Birdwood Court opened.
Customers & Staff alike waited with baited breath as Director & Founder Mike Sermon read out a short poem prior to cutting the ribbon (proudly held by his grand-children) and declaring the new shop open.
From then on there was a continuous stream of Customers passing through the tills, at one time over 50 people were patiently waiting to check-out via one of the 4 newly opened tills.
Free samples of chocolate, cosmetics and soft drinks were available in copious amounts for all to try .. and each Customer received a 'goodie' bag with contents generously donated by many of our stocked brand manufacturers.
Palm Radio broadcast live from the store along with the local Dartington Radio .. and the Herald Express were on hand to 'snap' some happy Customers.
First Customer through the doors was Totnesian Rosemary Burn - and she was delighted to receive a special 'goodie' bag along with some other assorted gifts. She was thrilled with all she had seen within the new Greenlife store and was sure it would attract more people to the top of the town, saying it was just what Totnes needed!
A free instore raffle was held during the day, with the star prize being won by Debbie Dodge, who wished Greenlife every success for the future.
A big thanks to all our first day Customers .. and especially to ALL the Greenlife Staff for making February 15th a day to remember in the history of Greenlife.
